The funeral service for Bill W. Myers, 65 year-old Goltry resident, is 2:00PM Friday, July 9, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Enid. Reverend Jerred Unruh to officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

Bill was born January 14, 1956 in Mooreland, Oklahoma to Dallas Wade and Alice (Fenton) Myers and died Monday, July 5, 2021 in Enid. He attended Goltry and Vici schools and graduated from Goltry with the class of 1974. He worked for a time in the Oklahoma oil fields until in 1983, he began his career as a corrections officer at Crabtree. He retired as Captain after twenty-seven years. He also worked at Winters livestock for many years.

Bill love to ride his motorcycles and horses. He enjoyed trail-riding out by Camargo many times.

He is survived by his daughters, Codie Myers and Breanna Myers, both of Enid; two sisters, Teresa Specht and husband, Rex of Parker, CO and Bobbie Jean Prentice and husband, Richard of Drummond; three aunts, Kathy Moss and husband, Raymond of Alva; Lois Holly and husband, Harold of Carmago; Janice Fenton of Weatherford; also surviving is good family friend, Jenny Beliele of Enid.

He was preceded in death by his parents and uncle, Darrel as well as maternal grandparents, Ivan and Sylvia Fenton.

Memorials can be given through Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home to OMRF (Stroke Division).
