The graveside service for Bobby L Wegmiller, 85 year-old Enid resident, is 2:00pm Wednesday, December 23, 2020 in the Garden Chapel of Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Gary Miller will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

Bobby was born Christmas day, 1934 in Enid to Fred and Viola (Wehwalt) Wegmiller and died Monday, December 21, 2020 at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center, Enid.

He attended local schools and graduated from Enid High School with the class of 1952. After graduation, Bobby enlisted in the US Army and served during the Korean Conflict. On June 1, 1956, he married Judy Kay Johnson in Enid, where the couple made their home. Bobby worked with the Champlain refinery for over twenty years.

In July of 1986, he and Judy bought the Flamingo Lounge which they owned and operated for 34 years. His work was his passion and he always stayed busy.

Bobby is survived by sons, Jay Wegmiller and wife, Wanda; Brad Wegmiller and wife, Pam, all of Enid; three  grandchildren, Erin Klein and husband, Jeremy of Enid; Jennifer Williams and husband, Tyler; Christian Wegmiller and wife, Kelsey as well as ten great-grandchildren.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 52 years, Judy; son, Scott and sister, Peggy Stramp.
