The Mass of Christian burial for Clara B. Wurth, 98 year-old Enid resident is 1:00PM Friday, February 9, 2024 in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Rev. Mark Mason officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary cemetery. Recitation of the rosary will be Thursday evening at 7:00PM in the Henninger-Hinson Chapel with Deacon Tony Crispo leading.

Clara was born July 22, 1925 in Carrier, Oklahoma to John and Mary (Plisek) Pospisil and died Sunday, February 4, 2024 in the Commons. After graduating from Carrier High School she worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone, retiring after 36 years.

On November 4, 1950 she married Bill Wurth. They celebrated 66 years of marriage in 2016. For a number of years she and Bill maintained the grounds at St. Francis and to the entrance of the Meadow addition. Clara loved spending time with family and friends but her greatest joy was spending time at home with Bill and tending her flower gardens. She was an active member of the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, St. Francis Altar Society and Telephone Pioneers of America.

She is survived by her brother-in-law Richard Patocka, and nieces and nephews Sharon Nall, Tom and Anita Lavicky, Don Pospisil, Donna Patocka and Randy Cloud, Diana and Gregg Bledsoe, Richard Patocka Jr, David Patocka, and Darrell and Kathy Patocka. She is also survived by many grand-nieces and nephews, as well as friends Tony Potts, Jinnie Potts, and Marc Potts.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill, brothers Johnnie Pospisil and Bill Pospisil and wife Elverda, and sisters Agnes and husband John Lavicky, Mary and husband Robert Bray, and Adella Patocka.

Memorials may be made through Henninger-Hinson to either the Altar Society or Our Daily Bread.
