Memorial service for Dick Leon Morgan will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday, January 31, 2015 in the Henninger~Hinson Funeral Home Chapel.
Dick was born June 27, 1948 in Alva, OK and was raised in Enid by Theodore and Yvonne (Johnson) Morgan and passed away January 19, 2015 in Enid. He attended local area schools Adams, Longfellow and Enid High. After graduating high school Dick joined the U.S. Army and served in the Vietnam War as a helicopter mechanic. In recent years he worked at Pizza Inn, Dresser Titan and Star Tek. Dick loved the outdoors, he always enjoyed going on nature walks, hunting, fishing, boating, camping and riding his motorcycle. He was a avid reader and loved spending time with his grandchildren playing ball and video games.
Dick is survived by his wife, Patricia of the home; sons, Richard, Derrick and Patrick; Daughter –in-law, Brandi; grandchildren, Tonya, Erin, Connor and Brice; two brothers, Tom his wife Suzie Morgan of Enid; Larry his wife Pauline of Enid; two Brother-in-laws, Douglas Ball of Washington and Frank Ball of Ohio. 14 nieces and nephews, 11 great nieces and nephews, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, step-son, James Gonsalves Jr. three uncles, 1 aunt and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
