The Memorial service for Donald "Papa Lou" Loos will be 10:00 A.M. Sunday, February 17, 2019 at Henninger~Hinson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Gary Miller officiating.

Donald "Papa Lou" Loos passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2019. Don was born in 1933 to Ruben and Bernice. He had two sisters, Nadine and Janice. He had his first job at seven candling eggs and testing cream at a local store. He was quite the adventurer in his youth as he once got stuck in a creamer barrel and once blew out the windows of his mother's kitchen while playing with dynamite. He graduated El Dorado High School and worked for Boeing as an airline mechanic. He was in the National Guard and United States Army in Korea where he often served his company by providing penicillin injections after weekend passes to Seoul.

He loved music and performed on radio shows and in bands in El Dorado. He was married twice. His first wife Marilyn was fun spirited and liked fast cars. With his second marriage to Peggy, he was instantly blessed with two daughters, Debbie and Effie and he adopted and raised them as his own. He had three more children, Donald Ray, Eunice and Carol. He spent most of his life working as a mechanic. He worked for Case Tractors in Wakita Ok. He later worked for and retired from Versen & Cochran as a pumper in the oil field. In his retired years he rekindled his love for music and created "PaPa Lou's" Karaoke. He spent his life doing what he wanted. He went on adventures, he made mistakes, and he loved life. He was always there to help solve a problem, tell a joke, or give a loan at a family rate.

His parent's, sisters, daughter Debbie, granddaughter Christina, wives Marilyn and Peggy are there to meet him in heaven.

He is survived by his children, Effie, Donald Ray, Eunice, and Carol. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and twelve great grand kids.
Donald had a great run in this this world and I'm sure he would say "Keep singing and smiling for me!"
