Evelyn Marie Traynor's Obituary
The mass of Christian burial for Evelyn Marie Fuxa Traynor, 82 year-old Enid resident will be 10:00AM Thursday, July 24, 2014 in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Rev. Rajesh Mankena will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.
Our dear wife, mother, and grandmother left us on Monday, July 21, 2014. Evelyn was the last of her family of John A. and Mary C. Fuxa. Also preceding her was Ernest who died in World war II, Henry, Virgil, Benny, and Louise Conrady.
She is survived by her loving husband R.A. (Skeeter) and children Linda and husband Randy Fuller of Enid and son Dennis Traynor of Waukomis and friend Cindy Zaloudek of Tulsa. Evelyn's grandchildren of whom she was so proud, are; Justin and Lauren Traynor of Yukon, OK>, Dr. Megan Traynor of Rochester, Minn., Allison Traynor RN. And fiancee' Cody Daniels of Edmond, OK. and Stephen Fuller of Oklahoma City.
Evelyn was born August 11, 1931 in Bison and graduated from Wakoumis in 1947. She was basketball homecoming queen, played sports and helped work the family farm. After high school she worked at Landwher Motors in Waukomis and then for Happy Camp at Waukomis State Bank. She married Skeeter on October 7, 1956 and continued to work at the Waukomis Bank until she was hired by Community Bank and Trust retiring as Vice-President.
Evelyn and Skeeter enjoyed traveling in their RV for Many years. Evelyn also leaves behind Mrs. Benny Fuxa, Mrs. Henry Fuxa, Dr. Thomas and Maredda Nelson, George and Jody Traynor and several nieces and nephews. She will be missed by so many wonderful relatives and friends.
Mom never complained as her heart was slowly giving out. She was a devoted wife and a doting grandmother. She will be remembered as a religious person, for her accepting nature, and unfailing generosity. Most of all, Mom will be remembered as a good woman, She took care of her parents, in-laws, and her family. She gave of herself to her friends and neighbors when it was needed, We all miss Mom already.
Memorials may be made through Henninger-Hinson to either Our Daily Bread or Oklahoma Heart Reasearch and Educational Foundation, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
