The memorial service for Florence Marie Woods will be 11:00am Friday, September 11, 2020 in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel.

Florence was born October 2, 1937 in Ardmore, OK to Elbert Matterson and Nellie May (Endsley) Stephens and passed away August 24, 2020 in Saginaw, Texas.

Florence held several jobs over the years including being a cook at the Ramada Inn, a cashier at Holdings, and a caregiver at several nursing homes.

Family was most important to Florence and she thoroughly loved spending time with them and talking on the phone. She always liked to attend storage shed auctions. In her later years, she enjoyed playing Bingo, cards and dominoes as well as going to casino's.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, James Stephens; Edward Joe Stephens and Elbert Matterson Stephens, Jr; four sisters, Dorothy May; Betty Louise; Marjorie Ann and Velma Jean.

Florence is survived by her three children, Larry Woods; Sherry Bays and Terri Carter; seven grandchildren, Chris Woods; Timothy Woods; Kristin Smith; Cody Stovall; Kala Stovall; Keith Hand; Katy Hand; nine great-grandchildren; siblings, Billy Wayne Stephens; Melvin Ray Stephens and Mary Ruth Ninness.

Memorials can be given in Florence's name to Hospice Circle of Love with Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home acting as custodian of the fund.
