The funeral for Garry K. Kirk will be today, Friday, January 13, 2017 at 11:00AM in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. Chaplain Gary Miller will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Garry was born August 11, 1931 in Kellyville, Oklahoma to Clifford and Pearl(Dotson) Kirk and passed away Monday, January 9, 2017 in his home in Enid. He attended Hominy schools graduating with the class of 1949.

On June 29, 1962 he married Jane Cresswell and the couple made their home in Enid. Gary worked as a survey engineer with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation. He retired May 30, 1986 after more than 35 years of service.

Garry was a member of the Moose Lodge and the American Bowling Congress. He and his wife Jane loved to travel, especially to Las Vegas.

He is survived by his son Cliff Kirk and wife Elaine of Frisco, Texas, daughter Sonya Wood and husband David of LaCenter, Washington, 6 grandchildren, Kayla, Cortney, and Kristen Kirk and Michael, Christopher, and Alisha Wood, and one sister, Jean Kern of Stockton, California.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jane, two brothers and three sisters.
