The funeral service for Gary Eugene Ford will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 22, 2016 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Pastor Kenneth Wade officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Henninger~Hinson Funeral Home. A visitation with family will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, October 21, 2016 at the funeral home.

Gary was born March 23, 1959 in Oklahoma City to Jerry and Lucille (McDaniel) Ford and passed away October 18, 2016.

Gary was raised in the Oklahoma City area moving to Enid in his twenties. He worked as an auto mechanic and ran his own tree cutting service. Gary met his soulmate, Ruth Lyons on January 9, 1983 and the couple made Enid their home. He enjoyed fishing, classic cars and working in his shop with his cat Booger, making a variety of things.

Gary is survived by his wife, Ruth Lyons; step-children, Montana Lyons and wife, Susan; Misty Scheel and husband, Garry; grandchildren, Malachi Lyons, Hannah Lyons, Makayla Lyons, Isaac Lyons, Sydney Scheel and Ramie Scheel.

He was preceded in death by his parents; step-son, Jack Lyons and Grandma Ford.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or Enid SPCA with the funeral home acting as custodian of the funds.
