The memorial service for  Gary Gene Shelite, 26 year-old Enid resident will be at 2PM Tuesday, September 4, 2018 in the Henninger-Hinson Chapel. Rev. Don Rogers will officiate. Burial of cremated remains will follow in Kremlin Cemetery under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

Gary was born October 17, 1991 in Enid to Loren Shelite and Sandra O'Neil and died Monday, August 27, 2018. On October 18, 2014, he married Emily Frakes in Bison, Oklahoma at her parent's home. Gary was a correctional officer at Crabtree Correctional Center.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is survived by his wife Emily of the home and their daughter, Jayden; his mother, Sandra Farrell; two brothers, Ben Baxter and Nathan Goodwin;  grandmother, Jonnie Henke and grandparents, Gary and Beverly Shelite.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Memorials may be made in his name to Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home, for benefit of his daughter, Jayden.
