Geoffrey "Jeff" Patrick Holden passed to his heavenly home February 26, 2021 in Enid, OK. A memorial service will be held in June to honor his life. Cremation arrangements and services are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

Jeff was born July 31, 1943 to Patsy Jane Eddleman & Harold Thomas Holden in Enid. Jeff was lovingly raised by his mother the first two years of his life because his father had been shot down in his B-17 bomber by the Germans and taken as a prisoner of war the day before Jeff's birth. Upon liberation as a POW, Harold & Patsy raised Jeff along with his two sisters (Judy & Jan) in Enid until the family moved to Stamford, Conn. in 1958 where Jeff graduated from high school. He then attended the University of Arizona to play football. However, his love of family and the cowboy life brought him back to Enid in 1963. He and Nancy Jacobs, whom he had known from childhood, had their first date riding in the 1963 Cherokee Strip Parade and were married in 1968. They made their home west of Enid where they rodeoed & were in the commercial horse & cattle business many years.  Jeff was well known for his horsemanship in team roping, performance and ranch horses.

Jeff enjoyed teaching daughter, Raymie, and grandchildren, Tyler & Emmaline, riding, roping and the cowboy way.  Jeff was very honored that he was able to influence many young people in maintaining old traditional ways of handling cattle horseback.

Jeff was an avid outdoorsman who loved Oklahoma as well as family trips to Red River, NM.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Nancy; daughter, Raymie Holland and husband, Trent; grandchildren, Tyler & Emmaline, who were the light of his life, all of Enid; sister, Judy Holden  Graham (Lynn) Terrell, TX; sister, Jan Holden Harmon (Carl) Dallas, TX; brother-in-law, Raymond G. Jacobs, Jr. Palmer, Lake, CO; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family gives special thanks and gratitude to Hospice Circle of Love nurses and pastor for their compassionate care.

Memorials gifts can be made in his honor to Hospice Circle of Love with Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home acting as custodians of the fund.
