The memorial service for George Roscoe Crittenden, 80 year-old Ames resident is 10:00AM Saturday, August 22, 2026 at his home on Crystal Lake in Ames. 

George was born December 24, 1945 in Stillwater, Minnesota and passed away Thursday, August 13, 2026 at his home on the lake.

He is survived by his wife Becky, three daughters, Andi Matthews, Monica Jensen, and Shannon Bates. One son, John Handcock. 17 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

George's wishes were for his family to scatter his ashes in the lake.
