The mass ceremony for George Lester Traynor, an 84-year-old Enid resident, will be held at St. Francis Catholic Church. On Tuesday, April 21st, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Father Mason will be officiating and burial to follow at the Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

George was born on March 5, 1942, in Enid to Edward and Mary (Apel) and passed on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, in St. Mary's Regional Medical Center.

Throughout a rich life of aviation, business, and solid friendships George remained most proud of the relationships he'd developed with those here today. His wife, Jody of 56 fun-filled, wonderful years. His children, two of which were lost too soon, two incredible grandkids, and the multitude of people whose life he touched via airplanes, Vater Implement, and being the hilarious, whip-smart center of social circles.

George took pride in the relationships he built with each of you and celebrated your success. Thank you for being here for him.
