Glenda "Darlene" Haws,75, of Enid, Oklahoma, transitioned to rest with our creator on Tuesday, September 7, 2022.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Monday, September 12, 2022 at Waukomis Christian Church in Waukomis, OK. The graveside service will be held at 2:00pm, Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Walker Cemetery in Welch, OK. Services are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

Darlene was born on March 30, 1947 in Welch, Oklahoma to Curtis and Opal Collins. She graduated from Welch High School in 1965. Darlene worked as a nursing assistant until her children were born. She later worked as a coordinator for the Oklahoma Blood Institute and in retail, where she excelled at helping others. Darlene was passionate about her family and friends, and treasured the bonds they created. She was very active in the Waukomis Christian Church, and served in the Civitans organization for many years.

Darlene is survived by her husband, Loyal Haws; her children, Joseph Roberts (Judy); Michael Roberts; Kimberly Montgomery (Dean); her step-children, Fonda Haws and Kris Haws (Cara); grandchildren, Luke Moede; Sam Roberts; Tyler Montgomery; Lance Montgomery; M. Dylan Roberts; James Roberts; Jacob Roberts; Allyah Baker; Andy Baker; her sisters, Brenda Davis and Betty St.Pierre; her brothers, Curtis Collins and Larry Collins and multiple nieces, nephews and cousins.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Opal Collins; her sisters, Nadine Rothrock, Lorraine Tinsley, and Peggy Olds, and her brothers, Bill Collins and Jim Collins.

Memorial donations may be given through the funeral home to Waukomis Christian Church or The Cat Clinic.
