Helen Hazel Hart, 104, passed away in Tulsa Oklahoma on February 10, 2015. A memorial service will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the Henninger Hinson Funeral Home in Enid with the Reverend Don Johnson Officiating.

Helen was born August 17, 1910 in Enid, Oklahoma to Nelly and Edgar Herndon. She graduated from Carrier High School in 1928. In her teen years she attended Banner Hall Church on horseback. Later in life she wrote a history of Banner Hall. She married John Loren Hart in 1931. Helen worked for Messer Bowers Insurance for 20 years. She was a member of the Central Christian Church giving of her time and talents and services. She helped organize meal on wheels in Enid and gave many years of service to that program.

Preceding her in death was her husband John of 67 years and two sisters.

Survivors include two sons and spouses, John Larry of Kansas City, Missouri and Jimmy Joe of Tulsa Oklahoma. Five grandsons and twelve great-grandchildren.
