The funeral service for Howard Leo Johndrow will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Henninger~Hinson Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Tony Crispo officiating. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery.

Howard Leo Johndrow was our hero. Born on October 27, 1921 in Enid, Oklahoma to Marie and Edward Johndrow. He is survived by his wife Jeanne, daughters Leslie and Colette, friend Kathryn, three grandchildren, Colette and husband Mike, Eric, and Alexander, four great-grandchildren Vivienne, Brielle, Priscilla, Evelyn, nephews Richard and wife Connie, Steven, and Chris.

Howard played football for OSU and graduated with a degree in electrical engineering. He was an accomplished tenor, who sang opera and was a member of a barber shop quartet. He was a captain in the army during WWII, when he met the love of his life, Jeanne Simone Obadia in Paris, France. They were married in1949 at St Francis Xavier church and were together for 66 wonderful years. His successful career as an engineer afforded him the opportunity to live all over the world with his family.

Howard lived his life passionately and to the fullest. He loved fishing, playing golf and was a master bridge player. He was a kind and beloved father, and a devoted husband. He was our role model and taught us the true value of honesty and integrity. Our lives were enriched by his presence. We love him so much. He will be missed each and every day.
