The graveside service for Jack W. Lewellen will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 27, 2015 in the Enid Cemetery with the Reverend Vernon Lee officiating. Services are under the direction of Henninger~Hinson Funeral Home.
Jack was born in Enid on May 29, 1921 to Olen Lee "Bob" and Nancy Ann (Lincoln) Lewellen and passed away June 24, 2015.
Jack attended area schools and married his high school sweetheart Myrtle "Mert" Martin on March 22, 1941 in Medford, OK he then enlisted into the United States Army in 1942. For business purposes jack traveled a lot, leading the couple to settle in Denver, CO in 1956. After his retirement in 1986 they moved back to Oklahoma in 1990 making Enid their home. Jack was a member of the United Association of Pipefitters and Plummer's and he also loved to go fishing.
Jack is survived by his nephew, Jim Troutman and wife, Vicki of Enid; niece, Donna Cox and partner, Bob Patterson of Illinois; great-niece, Elizabeth Cox and fiancé Patrick Dworak also of Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mert Lewellen and her sister, Imogene Case; his parents and brother, Roy Lewellen.
