The funeral service for Jeffrey " Jeff" Dale Jones, 66 year-old Enid resident will be Friday, May 23, 2014 at 2:00PM in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Alvin Dalton will officiate. Burial will follow in Enid Cemetery.

Jeff was born October 20, 1947 in Enid to Everett .and Rachel (McMahan) Jones .and died Monday, May 19, 2014 at his home in Enid. He was raised and educated in Enid. After completing school Jeff enlisted in the United States Army where he served in Viet Nam. He was awarded the Purple Heart while in the service.

After the war he returned to Enid where he worked in construction for many years. He had attended the Cowboy Church where he was saved. He loved animals and kept ponies, goats, and a goose.

He is survived by his brother Wayne Jones and wife Judy, one step-son Arthur, and three step-daughters, Judy, Diane, and Linda, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his wife Juanita, his parents, five brothers and five sisters.
