A private graveside service for Jerryl Wayne Chodrick, 81 year-old former Enid resident will be Wednesday, July 2, 2014. The Rev. Josh Byrd will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

Jerryl was born June 13, 1933 in Enid to John and Viola (carter) Chodrick and died Monday, June 30, 2014 in his home in Norman. On August 1, 1950 he married Norma Wiens in Neosho, MO. The couple made their home in Enid until 1972 when they moved to Norman.

Jerryl was a full-time National Guard member retiring as a Sergeant Major. After his retirement from the guard he and his brother owned and operated a barber shop.

He is survived by his daughter Tammy Webb and husband lester of Norman, 3 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Norman in 2002, and several siblings.
