The funeral service for Jonathan C. Dickinson, 57 year-old Enid resident, will be 2:00PM Friday, December 11, 2015 in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Dave Jones will officiate. Burial will follow in Enid Cemetery.

Jonathan was born July 4, 1958 in Enid to Elvin "Dick" and Rae (Hermanski) Dickinson and died Wednesday, December 9, 2015 in St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. He attended schools in Texas and Nebraska and graduated from Enid High School with the class of 1978.

He worked at Vance Air Force Base for many years. He later worked as a corrections officer at the Diamond Back Correctional Center in Watonga. He was a member of the Mason's where he held several offices. He was an avid reader, coin collector, and enjoyed fishing in his spare time.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon, of the home; son, Josh; four step-children, Sherry and Chris Wilson; Lee Buller; Roberta Wison; mother, Rae Decker and husband, Terry; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Janet Hamen and husband, Rob; Penny Tower and husband, Tom and one brother, Mark Dickinson and wife, Leah.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dick.
