The memorial service for Joylene M. Estenson, 68 year-old Drummond resident will be Saturday, August 8th at 10:00 A.M at the Salem United Methodist Church (402 Kansas Ave).
Joylene was born June 24, 1958 in Enid to Lendel and Leona (Milacek) Bagshaw and died Friday, July 31, 2026 in the North Garland Nursing Home. She attended Waukomis schools and graduated with the class of 1976. She attended a year of college at Phillips University. She was a member of the 189th Air National Guard where she was a payroll specialist.
On July 17, 1982 she married Howard Estenson. The couple made their home in Drummond. Joylene was a physical Therapist for many years at Bass Hospital and also for several area nursing homes. She also worked for a time at Vance Air Force Base on the flight-line and the Officer's Club.
She was instrumental in running a support group for National Guard families. She enjoyed, sewing, cooking and gardening. She would also hunt with her husband Howard. She loved her dogs!!!!!
Joylene is survived by her husband Howard, two daughters; Jennifer Bagshaw and Lisa Smith. 9 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. one sister Desdive Bagshaw and three brothers; Leslie, Danny, and Edward Bagshaw, all of Enid. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, and daughter Christine Otto.
