The memorial service for Katherine Elaine Ramey, 51 year-old Enid resident, is 10:00AM Saturday, July 25, 2020 in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel.

Katherine was born September 30, 1968 in Nurenberg, Germany to Jerry and Lorraine (Bond) Tipps and died Tuesday, July 21, 2020 in St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. She attended school in California, graduating from Pondarosa High School with the class of 1986.

On November 22, 1993, she married Dee "Butch" Ramey Jr. in Fair Oaks, CA. The couple made their home in Rancho Cordova. They moved to Enid in 2003 where she was a homemaker. She was a proud Girl Scout Mom of Troop 726. She was also a phlebotomist and a medical assistant.

She was an avid gardener but mostly enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Butch, of the home; son, Gary Ramey also of the home; daughter, Saundra Rankin of Enid; mother, Judy Sanchez of California; two granddaughters, Alexis and Elizabeth Rankin of Enid as well as numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father and brother, Gary Ellis.
