The funeral service for Kenneth R. Wyssman, 80 year-old Covington resident will be at 2:00PM Saturday, January 31, 2015 in St. John's Lutheran Church in Covington, Oklahoma. Pastor Chris Griffith officiating. Burial will follow in Covington Cemetery under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

Kenneth was born December 9, 1934 in rural Covington to William and Alvina (Kreithe) Wyssman and died Wednesday, January 28, 2015 in Greenbrier Nursing Home. He graduated from Covington High School and spent his life in the Covington Area. He retired from Ditch Witch after a long career there. He was a member of the Covington Volunteer Fire Department for over 20 years.

He was a faithful member of St. John's Lutheran Church where he participated in many roles.

He is survived by his son Ray Wyssman and wife Marcia of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, daughers Lora Hartman and husband Barry of Oklahoma City, Joyce Howard of Oklahoma City, and Sue Elliott and husband Garrett Schenck of Dallas, Texas, 7 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents,wife Gladys, three brothers and one sister.

Memorials may be made through Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home to either St. John's Lutheran Church or the Tri-County Senior Citizens Center.
