The graveside service for Leola Katherine Freelove will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend Gary Miller officiating. Services are under the direction of Henninger~Hinson Funeral Home.

Leola was born March 19, 1931 to Herbert and Ada (McBride) Steiger in Pond Creek, OK and passed away January 10, 2019 in Enid.

Leola graduated from Pond Creek High School in 1949. She married Carl Freelove on January 21, 1950 and shortly after the couple moved to Enid making it their home. Leola was a homemaker, seamstress and part-time carpenter assisting Carl build their home in Enid. She was a long-time member of Calvary Baptist Church. Leola enjoyed ceramics, knitting, crocheting but most of all she loved accompanying her granddaughter, Brandie to and from her softball games.

Leola is survived by her husband; daughter, Gayle Freelove of Enid; grandchildren, James Freelove; C.J. Freelove; Bryon Freelove; Patrick Freelove; Joseph Freelove; Carlena Otwell; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, J.C. Steiger; sisters, Ada Morgan and Loise Revell.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Gary Freelove; granddaughter, Brandie; 2 great-grandsons; brother, Clifford Steiger.
