Keith Lynn was privately laid to rest with family farewells and much love in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

Keith was born near Madill, Oklahoma on December 18, 1934 to Clyde and Geneva Rogers Lynn and passed away Friday, October 15, 2021 at his home in Enid. He attended schools in Madill and Altus before moving to Enid where he graduated from Enid High School in 1953. He played on the Mid-State conference championship football team in 1952. He was awarded a football scholarship to Central Sate University, returning to Phillips University to graduate with a degree in Geology.

After college, Keith worked briefly at Champlin Oil. He later served as an insurance adjuster for General Adjustment Bureau before becoming an agent for State Farm Insurance, retiring in 1999 after thirty-five active years in the insurance business. He served on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Life Underwriters, was President of the Enid Coin Club, member of the YMCA since 1963, Meadowlake Golf Association, Ambucs, and Chamber of Commerce.

He leaves behind his high school sweetheart and wife of 65 years, Marilyn; son, Mark Lynn of Enid; daughter, Lisa and husband, Lt. Col. Jim Couch of San Antonio, TX; three very special grandchildren, Brandon Couch MD, of Pittsburg, PA; twins, Kayla Couch, RN and Christopher Couch; as well as brother-in-law, Richard Scarritt.

He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, Lee Standard and special uncle, Sam Lynn of Altus.

Keith and Marilyn spent many happy times antique hunting and collecting, and he enjoyed his collections.

He was an avid sports enthusiast, lover of nature and the outdoors, and leaves many great-friends and memories. "We love you and thank you for our wonderful life together".

Memorials can be given through Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home to the environmental charity of the donors choosing.
