Louise died peacefully Monday with family around her after a long journey with alzheimers. She was born in Charleston, Arkansas to Bert and Hettie Stubblefield. She had one brother, J.B. Stubblefield Jr., better known as "Sonny". She loved her brother very much and was so proud of his military accomplishments as a full Colonel in the US Army. They had a wonderful childhood growing up in this small farming,coal-mining community. She graduated from the University of Arkansas and pursued a career in education and then later became a dietician with a private practice and consulting services.

She loved cooking and was always sharing her talents and feeding everyone. She was a charter member of the Stephens County Medical auxiliary and continued her volunteer work over 30 years in various hospitals along the way. She became an active member of the " First Ladies Republican Women's Organization" on a state and national level. A big highlight of her life was going to the White House to have tea with Laura Bush.

She shaped her life around her church activities and friends and developed some wonderful relationships along the way. She was devoted to her God, her family, and her country. She was passionate about her grandchildren and leaves them with many special memories. She was fierce,
funny, bossy, nurturing, and loving all at once.

She is a lot to miss and we are so thankful for her life and love as she rests in peace with our Heavenly Father. Hugs to you Mimi! Hope they wear red, white, and blue up there…..
