Funeral services for Marcus Wayne "Mark" Carter, 41 year-old Enid resident, will be 10:00am Monday, October 20, 2014 in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Marcus was born June 13, 1973 in Enid to William and Dolores (Raymond) Carter and died as a result of a car accident October 9, 2014 in Longdale, OK.

When he was young, his family moved to Oklahoma City. He graduated from Western Heights High School. Marcus moved back to Enid in his early 30's. In 2013, he moved to Wyoming, where he studied auto mechanics at Wyo Tech. After graduating in December 2013, he moved back to Enid.

Marcus was well-liked. He enjoyed bowling, OU football, listening to Christian or country music and going to church with friends and family. He had a good heart and was always trying to help when someone asked. He will be greatly missed by many.

He was preceded in death by his mother; grandfather, Clifford Raymond; two grandmothers, Dora Raymond and Marie Bell and one nephew.

Marcus is survived by his father; sister, Marjorie Reagle, both of Enid; brother, Mike Carter of Norman; girlfriend, Melissa; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, one great niece as well as many dear friends.

Memorial donations can be given through the funeral home to Family, Faith, Fellowship Church.
