The memorial service for Mary Lou Jones, 71 year-old Enid resident will be Monday, July 7, 2014 at 2:00PM in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home. The Rev. Randy Mitchell will officiate. There will be a private family burial at a later date.

Mary Lou was born April 2, 1943 in Enid to Earl and Maudie (Nicholson) Day and died Tuesday, July 1, 2014 in Enid. She attended local schools and graduated from Enid High School with the class of 1961.

She married David M. Jones Jr. in Enid where the couple made their home. The family business was Day Ford for many years. She attended First United Methodist Church. She worked at the YWCA with the Women's Crisis Center for 10 years. She was an active volunteer in the community. Mary Lou was a talented artist in many mediums but especially drawing. She had numerous small business interests through the years. She was a devoted wife and mother.

She is survived by her sons Andrew Jones of Las Vegas, NV, and Nick Jones of Oakwood, GA. One grandson, Mason Jones also of Oakwood, GA.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother John Day.
