Patricia Josephine George was born May 7, 1946 in Stella, Missouri to Raymond and Asia Chiffon (Hitchcock) Phillips and passed away October 11, 2021 in Enid.

On July 31, 1964, Pat married Edwin Earl George in Perryton, Texas. After their wedding, they lived in Australia for four years before making their home in Woodward.

She loved raising her children and being at home but always dreamed of owning a bookstore. Happily, she got to live out that dream in the 1980's. Edwin passed in 1981.Pat, along with daughter, Danielle, moved to Enid in 1991. By far, her proudest accomplishment was the birth of her grandson, Zeke.

Pat enjoyed many things such as reading, music, movies, gardening, her cat, Callie Girl and her dog, Bruiser. She thoroughly delighted in Facebook and scrolling through her friends to stay caught up with their lives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Earl George; son, Joby Shane George and her parents.

Pat is survived by daughter, Danielle George; son, Matthew Shawn George; grandson, Zechariah "Zeke" McCormick; brother, Steve Phillips and wife, Carol; sister, Linda Smith and husband, Johnny as well as numerous extended family.

At her request, there will be no services. Pat's cremated remains will be buried in Woodward at a later date. Cremation services are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.
