The funeral for Pauline E. Ballard, 87 year-old Meno resident, will be 10:00AM Friday, February 2, 2018 in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Rick Milam officiating. A private burial will follow in Ames Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.
Pauline was born April 13, 1930 in Oaklaunion, Texas to Fritz and Alice (Phillips) Zipperle and died Monday, January, 29, 2018 at Integris Bass Baptist in Enid. She attended schools in Oakley Union, graduating with the class of 1948. She then attended Phillips University in Enid. On April 16, 1950, Pauline married Howard Ballard in Vernon, Texas. The couple made their first home in Enid. They moved to southern California in the early sixties returning to the Meno area for good in the mid-seventies.
She was a long time member of Parker Union Church. She enjoyed playing music with her husband.
Pauline is survived by her sons, Steve Ballard of Meno and Ray Ballard and wife, Dianna, also of Meno; her daughter, Linda Patterson and husband, Grover of Ames; eleven grandchildren, Tamara; Randy; Chris; Sonya; Mitchell; Brett; Libby; Helen; Erica; Melody; and Tyler; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is also survived by her brother, Carl Zepperle and sister, Alice Hart.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Howard; son, Wayne; granddaughter, Terry; two brothers and a sister.
