The funeral for Pauline Constant, 92 year-old Enid resident will be 10AM Monday, August 10, 2015 in St. Matthew's Episcopal Church.
Rev. Dr. John F. Toles will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home. There will be a visitation with family on Sunday from 2PM-4PM in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel.

Pauline was born November 22, 1922 in Enid the second child for Christ and Hresula C. Hronopulos . She and the growing brood lived on the town square above the Silver Moon restaurant her father ran until the family moved to East Main in the early 1930's.

Pauline was a graduate of Enid High School class of 1940 and then attended Enid Business College. As WWII built up in Europe she made use of those business skills and moved to Washington, D.C. to work for the Navy Department. She said it was an exciting time and place to be as she helped with the war effort. Returning to Enid she married a young cadet she met at Vance Air Force Base, Theodore C. Constant. The wedding took place December 1945 in Montgomery, Alabama.

In 1946 the young couple moved to Chicago where Ted had grown up and stated their life together. While living in Chicago, Pauline worked for an entertainment booking agency; Fredrick Brothers Artists Corporation, NY, Chicago, and Hollywood. A lot of Big Bands were booked through Fredrick Brothers. They stayed in Chicago until 1950. They lived briefly in Wichita before moving back to Enid, where she remained the rest of her life.

Upon moving back to Enid, Pauline and her husband Ted worked along with Christ P. Hronopulos at the Enid China & Fixture Company. They sold the business in the 1970's and upon retirement, traveled in Greece and the U.S. One of her favorite trips was to England, a country whose history and culture she loved.

She was a long –time member of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church .Pauline's hobbies included reading, knitting, playing bridge with life-long friends and creating blue ribbon awarded needle points. She had a strong mind to the end and was curious about the world and people.

She is survived by her son Chris Constant of Dallas, daughter Hresula Bentsen and husband Ernie of Baja California Sur, Mexico. Also sisters; Chris Maskalaleris, Grace Willias, of Soloman MD. and Demetra Vrla and husband George, of Dallas, Dennis and Vicki Wilson, and Vana Economopoulos.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ted, one son, one grandchild, and a brother.
