The funeral for Pearley Leota (May) Martin, age 99, will be 1:00 pm Monday, August 31, 2020 in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel, Enid, OK with Reverend Timmy Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Hackberry Cemetery, east of Waukomis. Services are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

Pearley was born to Jim and Minnie (Newton) May on June 6, 1921, west of Fairmont, OK - she was the third of seven children. She married Earl Martin on June 6, 1940. She went to be with the Lord on August 27, 2020 at the age of 99.

She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

Pearley loved her family and sent a birthday card with $1.00 enclosed to each member of her family, including new babies and newly married grandchildren. She never forgot a birthday, even when she was sick in the hospital.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Minnie; daughter, Earlene; son, Earl Wayne; sisters, Bonnie, Mary, and Genevia; brothers, James, Edward, and William. She is survived by two daughters, Rachel and June; son, Robert; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
