The graveside service for Ray K. Sweet, 78 year-old Enid resident is 1:00PM Thursday, April 10, 2025 in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home. Rev. Mike Kent will officiate.

Ray was born March 27, 1947 in Enid to Harry and Margaret Sweet and died Monday, April 7, 2025 in his home surrounded by his family. He attended local schools. In 1970 he married Sarah Stevenson in Flagstaff, Arizona. The couple made their home in Enid where Ray worked as a Tow-Truck driver for several services, including; Ralph Shepard, Roberts Body Shop, Enid Diesel, Clay's Collision, Brand X and then With Stanley's from where he was still working.

He volunteered his free time working at Shepherd's Cupboard. He enjoyed racing and attending at the Enid Motor Speedway where he was known as " Wrecker Ray".

He is survived by his wife Sarah, his children, Rita McDonald and husband Dewayne and Michael Sweet and wife Jenninfer Harmon. 6 grandchildren; Trevin McDonald, Stormie Stone, Traytin McDonald, Chancey Sweet, Samantha Sweet, and Mikey Sweet. 6 great-grandchildren, one twin brother Raymond Sweet and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers and sisters. Memorials may be made in his name to the funeral home.
