The funeral service for Richard E. Hollers, 89 year-old Enid resident, will be Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 1:00PM in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Cherokee Cemetery. A visitation with family will be Friday evening from 6PM-8PM at the funeral home.

Richard was born December 1, 1929 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Albert J. and Clara (Lee) Hollers and died Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Garland Road Nursing Home. He graduated with the class of 1948 in Indiana. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force. He retired after twenty years of service in the Alaska territory.

He began driving for Groendyke Transport Company in 1969. He retired in 1999.

Richard is survived by son, Terry Hollers of St. John's, Kansas; daughter, Theresa Lynn Hollers of Billings; granddaughter, Mona and great grand-daughter, Michlyn, both of Enid.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and several brothers and sisters.
