The celebration of life for Rosalie Thompson, 79 year-old Enid resident, will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

Rosalie was born September 27, 1943 in Enid to Howard and Elsie (Stevenson) Stanley and died Thursday, November 24, 2022 at her home in Enid. After graduation, she attended Enid Business College and worked in a clerical capacity for several Enid businesses.

She attended local schools and graduated from Enid High School with the class of 1961. On December 1, 1965, she married Preston Thompson and the couple made their home in Enid.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed doing puzzles.

Rosalie is survived by son, David Thompson of Enid; daughter, April Thompson of Enid; six sisters and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Preston; parents, and two brothers.
