The graveside service for Rule Gene Webster, 83 year-old former Enid resident is..... at ..... in Enid Cemetery. Rev. Devon Krause will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

Rule was born on September 29, 1942 in Enid to Eugene Forest Webster and Bernie Berry Webster. He grew up in the Enid area until 1955, when his family moved to Covington. He graduated from Covington High School in 1960 and went on to attend Oklahoma State Tech in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. After one and a half years at Okmulgee, he returned to the Enid area and began working for Coca-Cola and Pepsi Cola Bottling Companies. During this time, he married his high-school sweetheart, Sharon Simpson in 1963.

He then went to work for Bond Bread Bakeries until their closing in 1974. He then went to work for Champlain Refinery until their closing in 1984. Working various jobs in the Enid area, he was hired by Great Lakes Carbon in 1988 and worked there until his retirement in 2006.

He was an avid bowler, bowling for years at the local bowling alley. He was kept busy attending the many functions and sporting events of his 10 grandchildren.

He is survived by his son Kelly Webster and wife Julie of Enid, daughters Shelly Krause and husband Jim of Okeene, and Cary Cross and husband Jonathon also of Okeene. 10 grandchildren, his brother Jerry Webster of Enid, and numerous relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Sharon and grandson Elijah.
