Funeral services for Sherry Sue Lara, 47 year old Enid resident, will be 3:00pm Wednesday, November 5, 2014 in the Henninger~Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Vernon Lee will officiate. Sherry will be cremated and laid to rest in Memorial Park Cemetery at a later Date. Arrangements are under the direction of Henninger~Hinson Funeral Home.
Sherry was born December 1, 1966 in Enid to Charles E. "Gene" and Sharon Ann (Wright) Splane and died suddenly October 30, 2014 in Oklahoma City.
She attended Enid schools and later earned her GED. She loved listening to music and always enjoyed spending time with family. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother and "Sandma". Sherry will be deeply missed and how her smile could light up a room.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Sherry is survived by her daughter, Aimee Milam and husband, Nathan; sons, Eliazar "Buddy" Lara and David Lara; five grandchildren; father, Gene; Brother, James Splane; sister, Julie Reed; Nieces, nephews and other extended family.
