Susie Unruh Neufeld of Enid, Oklahoma passed away peacefully at Golden Oaks on June 26, 2014 at the age of 99. She was born in Corn, Oklahoma on March 6, 1915 to Cornelius and Katie Unruh. Her beloved husband, Gerhard Harder Neufeld, preceded her in death on November 22, 1975 at the age of 58. In 1982, she married Dave Unruh who died in 1993.

Susie leaves four children: Elsie and husband, Kermit Lehman, of Waltham, MA, and granddaughters, Christina and Heather; Wilbur and wife, Charlotte, of Redwood City, CA, and grandchildren, Sheila (great-granddaughter Hannah), Alan, and Barry; Nancy and husband, Christopher Jones of Mesa, AZ; and Larry and wife, Jana, of Edmond, OK, and grandson, Jacob.

Susie's siblings who preceded her in death were: Dena, Mary, Lena, Lizzie, Mabel, Dan, Paul, and Tillie. She is survived by Walt and Leo.

Susie's loves were cooking, baking, working with children, crafting, putting together jigsaw puzzles, and corresponding with friends and family.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Friday, July 25, 2014 at the Chapel in Golden Oaks Retirement Village, 5801 N Oakwood Road in Enid, OK at 2:00 pm with a reception to follow. A private burial of her cremated remains will be held later. Arrangements are with the assistance of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.
