The memorial service for terry E. Eckhardt, 51 year-old former Enid resident will be Thursday,at 10:30AM December 29, 2016 in the Central Assembly of God Church. The Rev. Josh Crosby will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

Terry was born December 13, 1965 in Enid to Walla and Betty (Johnson) Eckhardt and died Sunday, December 18, 2016 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He began living at the Enid State School (NORCE) at age 6. He attended school there and was a High School graduate.

In…..Terry moved to a group home in Stillwater. He loved to sing and dance and was the life of the party. He was very funny, loving, but most of all caring. Terry fought a very hard battle at the end and we are do very proud of him.

He is survived by his Mother Betty Brennan, his father Walla Eckhardt, his two brothers, Johnie and Meryle, two Aunts, Letha and Cindy, a niece and nephew, and several cousins. He is also survived by his SCL family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his step-father John, maternal and paternal grandparents, and an uncle Larry Johnson.
