Terry Lynn Schwerdtfeger, formerly of Capron, Oklahoma, was born May 4, 1949 in Oklahoma City. He passed away December 9, 2022 in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

After being adopted by Wesley and Winnona McCollugh Schwerdtfeger, he was born with the family name of Sparks. Raised on a farm in the Capron, Oklahoma community, Terry graduated from Capron High School with the class of 1967.

Terry attended mechanical school in Oklahoma City and was a certified body and fender painter as well as a union journeyman painter. He was employed at OSU as a painter.

Terry was married to Karen Bechner then Annette Franco and finally, Barbra Bean.

He is survived by four children, Terisa; Rod; Chad and Josh: five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Greg Schwerdtfeger; lifelong friend and brother, Marty "Doc" Pulliam as well as a legion of friends.

Visitation and lunch will be 1:00pm Friday, December 16, 2022 with the funeral service to follow at 2:00pm at Capron Methodist Church. Burial will be in the family plot of Capron Cemetery at a later date. Services are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home, Enid, OK.
