The celebration of life for Timothy "Tim" Kirkpatrick is 2:00PM Friday, July 12, 2024 in the Kremlin High School Gymnasium. Pastor Bill Kalfas will officiate.. Arrangements are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

Timothy "Tim" Douglas Kirkpatrick, 57, passed away on June 28, 2024, in Enid, Oklahoma. Born on May 25, 1967, in the US Naval Hospital in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, to Roy Douglas and Mary Helen (Coakley) Kirkpatrick.


Timothy was a proud member of the National Guard, dedicating over 20 years of service to his country. He served two tours in Iraq, one tour in Afghanistan, and was deployed to help with cleanup and rescue efforts in the aftermath of hurricane Katrina. He also worked for the Oklahoma Department of Corrections for over 25 years, spending over 14 years as an officer before an injury in Afghanistan forced him into office work. He was well respected by his coworkers and the inmates he encountered over the years. During his tenure at the DOC he proudly served as a member of the honor guard.


On June 16, 2000, Tim married his loving wife Dana in Alva, Oklahoma at the Nazarene Church.


Tim was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, and his brother, Robert Kirkpatrick. He is survived by his loving wife, Dana; children, Jessica Barkhurst, Christina Duvall and husband John, Erica Graham and husband Neil, Christopher Kirkpatrick and wife Steffany, Mason Hamilton, Katie Kirkpatrick and fiancé Jeff Bagnell; and 13 grandchildren.


Tim was a husband, father, and proud grandfather known as "Pappy" to his grandchildren, friends and fellow veterans. Tim's commitment to service and his country will be remembered by those who knew him, as well as his devotion to his family.


Memorial contributions can be made to the Kremlin Lions Club or the Kremlin Athletic Fund.
