Tracy Ellen Carter, 61 year-old Shawnee resident. Inurnment will be in Green Hill Cemetery Muskogee, Oklahoma. Tracy was a very private person and her wish was that family and friends remember her by making donations to local food banks instead of having a memorial service Tracy was born September 18, 1961 in Muskogee to Roy H. and Anuella (Smith) Carter and died Saturday, November 19, 2022  in Shawnee. She attended local schools and graduated from Oktaha High School with the class of 1979.

She was a bookkeeper with AlutiiQ Commercial Enterprises for many years as a contactor at Tinker Air Force Base. She enjoyed going to the gym and keeping in touch with longtime friends and colleagues.

Tracy was predeceased by her mother, Anuella; brother-in-law, Steven B. Smith; grandparents, Adrian and Melvie (Mannon) Smith; Roy L. and Johnnie (Breshears) Carter.

She is survived by her father, Roy Carter of Enid; sister, Carol Ann Smith also of Enid; nephews and their families, Jason and Miranda Hollis and sons, Lane and Brantley of Muskogee; Tyler and Dayanna Hollis and children, Jacklyn and Roy of Warner, OK as well as many family members and friends whom she loved.

God of hope, we come to you in shock and grief and confusion of heart, help us to find peace in the knowledge of your loving memory to all your children, and give light to guide us out of our darkness, into the assurance of your love. In Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
