The funeral service for Vada Marie Decker will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 18, 2014 in the Henninger~Hinson funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Dave Jones will officiate.

Vada was born and raised on the family farm one mile south of Meno to John and Mary (Becker) Jantz November 21, 1922 and passed away in Enid December 16, 2014. Vada attended local schools and graduated from Oklahoma Bible Academy in 1940. On November 15, 1942 she married Leonard Decker they were married for 57 years till his passing in 1999. She graduated from Beaches Beauty School in 1958. She owned and operated her beauty shop for 50 years.

Vada is survived by two sons, Ronnie Decker and his wife Betty of Meno, OK; Terry Decker and his wife Rae of Enid; one sister, Wanda Koehn of Portland, OR; 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leonard; daughter, Janie Shelton; sister, Ruby Everett and brother Aldee Jantz.

Memorial donations can be made to OMRF with Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home acting as custodian of the fund.
