The memorial celebration for William "Bill" Inherst is  Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at 4202 South La Mesa Dr. at 4:00PM.  William R. Inherst, a 67-year-old Enid resident passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center with his caregiver Cassandra by his side.

He was born on May 8, 1958, in Alliance, Ohio to Oscar and Emily (Eberling) Inherst. William's wishes were to be cremated under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

Bill passed away from a heart attack on Sept 4, 2025. God has restored him; Bill lost it all after he entered the nursing home/ maybe even before, but for these last two years God has been restoring him. He got a new place to live and to call his home. He made new friends. He built up his savings again, that was stolen from him. His attitude about life improved, and continued with a repentant heart. He went on adventures to First Friday's, the Enid Parks, Fling in the Springs - concert in the park, a family trip to Canton Lake, and spent time outside just looking around his apartment complex for treasure.
