Windell C. "Corky" Sewell
A visitation for family and friends will be 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Friday, January 2, 2015 in the Henninger~Hinson funeral home chapel.
Windell was born November 1, 1938 to Melvin and Christine (Blagg) Taylor in Winnsboro, TX and passed away December 30, 2014 in Ringwood. He was raised and attended school in Texas graduating from Texas Tech High School in 1956. In 1957 he joined the Navy and was honorably discharged in 1961. On August 14, 1961 Windell married Roberta Lederhos in Colorado. Windell enjoyed cars, rat rods and art.
He is survived by his wife, Roberta Sewell; Daughter, Danette Elverum and husband, John of Westminster, CO; Three sons, Darryl Sewell and wife, Pam of Lahoma, OK; David Sewell and wife Brook of Milliken, CO; and Dean Sewell of Meno,OK; one brother Delton Sewell and wife Gladys of Boyd,TX; Uncle, Raymond Blagg, 3 nephews, 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and was preceded in death by his parents.
